E.J. Flynn of Flynn Law Firm, P.L.C. in Urbandale, IA, has practiced within the areas of employment law, civil rights, and civil litigation for nearly twenty years. He has obtained several favorable decisions and negotiated numerous cases to settlement.

Before graduating from the University of Iowa College of Law, E.J. was selected as a member of the Iowa Law Review and an Editor for the Iowa Moot Court Board. In addition, he was selected for the Van Oosterhout Moot Court Competition, awarded to the top ten percent of advocates within his class, and served as Research Assistant to Willard L. Boyd, former University of Iowa president.

Prior to entering law school, E.J. was a photojournalist, working largely with the Associated Press, for more than a decade. E.J. worked in Los Angeles covering events ranging from floods, fires, earthquakes, and riots, to Hollywood and professional sports. He received numerous awards and was nominated by the Associated Press for the Pulitzer Prize.
